Pets can be unlocked by finding the Egg Basket.
This basket can be obtained as a reward from the quest in the tavern, provided that our character is level 75 or higher.
Obtaining new pets gives you bonuses to the statistics of your character and companions.
The habitat of pets corresponds to one of attributes, it is as follows:
water - strength bonus
light - dexterity bonus
earth - intelligence bonus
shadow - constitution bonus
fire - luck bonus
Each collected pet grants +1% bonus to specific attribute.
In addition, each pet at level 100 or higher gives an additional bonus, according to the table below:
Every day you can fight with other players, you have 5 chances - one for each habitat.
As an attacker in each battle, you can choose any habitat (except those that you used earlier on a given day),
while the defender's habitat is the same for a given day.
Defensive habitat change each day in the following pattern:
Water -> Fire -> Earth -> Light -> Shadow -> Water.
When choosing an habitat to attack, consider the following: the total pet level of the habitat,
and the strength of the habitat relative to the defense habitat.
The diagram below shows the ratio of the strength of habitats to others.
Water > Fire > Earth > Light > Shadow > Water
From this diagram you can read that, for example, the Water will be stronger than Fire,
and the Shadow will be stronger than Water.
To be able to find more pets, you must first defeat them in their habitats.
Each pet from a given habitat gives a +5% bonus to all statistics for all pets from this habitat.
Here you can check the statistics of pets that you will face.
In the game you will find fruits that are used to feed pets, each habitat has its own fruit,
and feeding a pet will increase its level by 1. Each pet can be fed 3 times a day.
You can get fruit from various sources, and these are mainly pet fights (pvp),
fights in environments (pve), as well as tasks in the tavern.
Each habitat has 20 pets, and in order to be able to find more pets, we have to defeat them in their habitats.
This is where the element of upgrading pets appears, each time you feed your pet with a fruit,
its level increases by 1, which in turn increases its statistics.
The maximum pet level is 100.
This level cap increases to 200 after defeating all pets in each habitat.
Pets have different classes, so some of them are better than others when it comes to fighting
other pets or fighting in habitat.
The scheme below shows which pets should you fed, until you can defeat and catch next one from specific path.
Paths below are optimized by food amount needed to complete habitats. Shorter paths should be usually chosen by shroomers, and longer ones by f2p players.
Hover over specific path to see its details, like required level needed to defeat next pet in path, or total amount of food needed for completing pet path.
Here's the legend:
- level of pet needed to defeat next pet in specific path
- pack of pets caught in specific habitat, since bigger pack means greater stats bonus
- level of Trainer Gladiator in Underworld which gives bonus for critical hits
%
- percentage chance for defeating next peth given you match previous values (level, pack and gladiator)
For some of you percentage values may seem to be low overall, but in practice they will be higher, as rare pets (like holiday ones) aren't count for packs.
Also if you'll have enough souls, you can push Trainer's level even higher.
With the tool below you can easily check when is your next opportunity to catch pets you need.
Just click on desired pet to get a timer.
You can pick multiple pets to know which one can be catched the soonest.
